It is difficult to pinpoint exactly where the idea of Garage 710 began. For many of us, cars have been a lifelong passion. However, I think the best place to begin is a late night in the garage. Like many car guys, we spend weekends wrenching on projects. What started out as an oil change here, and a brake job there, eventually became a weekly ritual.

The projects became more involved, and soon engines were coming out, and turbos were being bolted on. Slowly but surely, Garage 710 grew from just a handful of friends, to a larger group. We started taking our cars on short cruises to local meets, or epic road trips to massive shows. We raced at local autocross, and road racing events, and bit by bit the circle of Garage 710 expanded. This really picked up speed in 2013, and the name Garage 710 came to be.

Years went on, the projects got bigger, the cars got faster, but the sense of friendship and community remained. We met other enthusiasts with amazing builds, we went to shows with incredible diversity, and always walked away with new stories to tell. Eventually, we wanted an outlet to share these stories, a platform to share the lifestyle that so many car enthusiasts love. We simply call it, Garage Life.

Garage Life follows enthusiasts everywhere they go. Sometimes it’s the late nights spent on fixing the daily driver, just to get to work in the morning. Other times it’s tightening the last bolt on a two year build, and turning it on for the first time. It’s the little moments, the big trips and the sense of accomplishment we all get from the cars we put ourselves into. We wanted to share that with the world, and capture these moments.
At its heart, Garage 710 will always be a group of friends, wrenching late into the night. You’ll find us in a garage taking the next step in a big project, or at track, tuning our latest changes. That is what we want to share with you, the highs and the lows. The parts of car culture that we love, and the love of driving all car enthusiasts possess. Whether we are featuring a finely crafted build, documenting an amazing show, or just updating you on a personal project, we aim to capture the idea of Garage Life in everything we do. There will be videos, articles, projects, reviews and so much more all featured on the site.
So we welcome you to this new project of ours, we hope you enjoy these stories.
